HY5WS-17/0DL-TB (TR (detachable) drop-type arrester is a distribution-type zinc oxide arrester that is modified and cleverly installed on the drop-type structure of a drop-out fuse, so that it can The lightning arrester can be easily detected, repaired and replaced with the help of the insulated switching operating rod, which not only ensures the smooth flow of lines, but also greatly reduces the work intensity and time of power maintenance personnel. It is particularly suitable for places where power outages are not appropriate, such as postal and telecommunications, airport stations, hospitals, bustling business districts, etc. The other performance of the product is the same as that of the distribution type arrester. The second generation drop-type arrester adds a disconnector. When an abnormality occurs in the arrester, the power frequency short-circuit current is used to make the disconnector operate. The grounding terminal is automatically disconnected, and the arrester element falls down. It exits operation to prevent further expansion of the accident, and is easy for maintenance personnel to detect and repair and replace in time. The falling principle is similar to the fuse tube falling down caused by the fuse of the fuse being blown.

●Power frequency: 48Hz~62Hz;
●The maximum wind speed does not exceed 35m/s;
●Areas with earthquake intensity of 7 degrees and below.

Note: The parameters of the arrester are the same as those of conventional arresters. The above ones are distribution types and can be replaced by other types such as capacitive type.

Installation instructions：
●This product should be installed on lines of systems and equipment whose rated voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the arrester.
●Please check the tightness between the arrester component and the drop-type mechanism before installation and use to ensure good contact and flexible delivery and removal.
●Adjustment method: Rotate the copper contact (with pull ring) on the arrester so that the opening pull force is within 6~10kg, and ensure that the pull ring side of the copper contact is facing outward, and then tighten the lower nut to make the pull ring difficult to rotate.
●When installing, the arrester and the plumb line should be at an angle of 15 to 30 degrees, and the distance should be no less than 200mm.
